About

My name is Michel Helderman. I work as an IT infrastructure architect at IT-Concern in the Netherlands. My primary focus is on virtual desktop infrastructures and all related systems like hypervisors, storage, Active Directory and end-user devices, like mobile devices. The virtual desktop infrastructures I work with are mostly based on Citrix products, like XenApp, XenDesktop, XenServer, NetScaler, and RES products, like RES ONE Workspace and RES ONE Automation.

With this weblog I would like to share my real life experience with people who are interested in the virtual desktop technology. All blogs are based on my own experience and are not copies of other articles. Because I work at a relative small company, I have to deal with all aspects, like design, build and troubleshoot. I do projects for customers, but at IT-Concern we also have our own hosted desktop solution Workspace2Go. The automation of datacenter tasks is one of my jobs I do for Workspace2Go.
